The Story
This room was originally the servants’ dining room and after that, the Farm Office. During our time living in the house, we sometimes heard spooky noises in this room… but later discovered that we were just listening to the chimney’s succession of tenants – usually pigeons!
We had the rare visitation or two as well – when an unsuspecting tenant dropped in (down the chimney) to say hello. However, we soon put a stop to those antics! So, should you perhaps hear strange noises in this room, fear not, it’s not a ghost!
