The House – About Duke’s Lodge
Beautifully renovated to the highest standards of comfort in a countryside setting, Duke’s Lodge combines all the modern-day must-haves with a characterful nod to the property’s farming heritage.
Full fibre Wifi is available throughout the property. The two living rooms and all the bedrooms have a Smart TV with Netflix and an entertainment package. All bedrooms have Super King-size ‘zip & link’ 6ft beds (made up as twins on request) and en-suite facilities.
The characterfully decorated first floor bedrooms are all accessed by 2 independent staircases. There is also a ground floor bedroom adapted for guests with limited mobility.

The Hub – Kitchen / Dining Room
Where it all happens! From preparing to sharing a meal or celebrating in style, the Hub is Duke’s most sociable space.
Flooded with light from patio doors to the Sunken Garden and sun terraces, it’s a farmhouse kitchen like no other… and the cooking facilities are pretty impressive too!

Super-comfortable and well-cosy. The decor in the West Living Room is wonderfully warm and stylish with great little antique and personal touches.
There are garden views and plenty of light from the big bay window too – as well as a wood burner and Smart TV.

Challenge your team to a tournament of table footie, or maybe air hockey, snooker or table tennis.
From TV to Wii and with something for the music minded too, this is a popular place to be for all ages – whatever the weather.

Utility & Boot Room, plus downstairs WC/ Shower Room
Affectionately known as the ‘Boot-ility’ or ‘Mud Room’, this space for de-booting, washing, drying, ironing and all, is just invaluable and double up as a doggie dormitory too!

The main feature of the bright hallway is the two staircases to the upstairs corridor/ landing. We love the stained glass in the doors too, the chandeliers and the gently loved-back-to-new-life Victorian features too.
The porch has access to the Sunken Garden Terrace as well as the internal hallway.

Like all the bedrooms in Duke’s Lodge, this beautifully decorated en-suite bedroom off the ground floor hallway, has its own individual name and character.
It has electrically operated twin beds, an accessible shower room and comfort-height toilet.

From Dachsunds to Bassett hounds, we’ve had great fun designing this beautifully blue en-suite double / twin bedroom. It also stands out from the crowd here as its bathroom is true to its name – it has a bath … and a shower as well as a loo.

You’ll be in (c)luck if you get this gorgeous double / twin bedroom during your stay at Duke’s Lodge. Brightly decorated and with an en-suite shower / WC, it comes out high in the pecking order when guests are considering their bedroom of choice!

Sleep under a starry sky in this big family-sized bedroom with 1 double / twin and 1 single bed, with space for a travel cot and all your litter (think about it!). There’s an en-suite shower/ loo, plenty of room to relax and loads of lovely tributes to porkers of the past.
